Dr. Neeru Bakshi is a board-certified psychiatrist and AAEDP-BIPOC subcommittee co-chair. Neeru has extensive experience working with patients with eating disorders as a psychiatrist and physician leader in eating disorder treatment facilities.
Dr. Bakshi's mission is to advance mental health equity by centering women of color in leadership. Dr. Bakshi is a Headspace Health psychiatrist, Co-Chair of the iaedp™ AAEDP-BIPOC Subcommittee, and public speaker, and she hopes to increase access for patients so they can live with greater balance and self-acceptance. Dr. Bakshi's vision is to shine a light on South Asian mental health and WOC leadership. She frequently speaks on topics that give an audience a guide map on taking back their power to adjust the status quo. Her keynotes include Resilience, Vulnerability and Worthiness, Racism and Mental Health, and Recovery from Eating Disorders. |
